Navigating work-life as a solo founder (work hard, live well!)

Hello and welcome back to the show - it’s Doone here - your host and Hype Girl.

In these Friday episodes, we have a co-host joining us, Josephine, and every week we will be checking in to talk about what’s current and trending in the world of business with tips on how you could leverage that and what’s coming up inside the Facebook group.

This week we're tackling a topic that's near and dear to many of our hearts: work-life balance. We're shining a light on the work-life creep and exploring practical strategies to help you thrive both personally and professionally. Whether you're struggling to carve out time for self-care, feeling overwhelmed with your never-ending to do’s, or simply seeking tips to better navigate work and life and everything in between, this episode is for you!

Do you have that underlying bubbling pressure that comes with entrepreneurship? You know the feeling I’m talking about; the pressure to constantly grind, hustle and make sacrifices with other life commitments in pursuit of our version of success. (Guilty 🙋‍♀️)

In this week's Hype Girl chat we’re talking through the realities of building a biz - especially in the early days when you’re slogging it alone - and how success ultimately comes down to being a happy and healthy founder. So whether you're struggling to carve out time for self-care, feeling overwhelmed, or simply seeking tips to better navigate work and life and everything in between, this episode is for you.

A quick tip: “It’s easy to get lost deep down in the rabbit hole thinking that this one specific task is the priority, but it might be that you need to get out of your head and bounce things off someone else to get clarity on what matters and what doesn’t.

Find someone in your corner with a different perspective - like a partner, friend or biz coach - and chat it out with them to make sure you’re taking the immediate action that shifts the needle in your business. This will allow you to refocus on what matters, consistently.”
